Robert Miller, DVM
Dr Miller is
the Chief of Staff and Hospital Director of California
Oaks Veterinary Hospital. He has a special interest in
orthopedic and reconstructive surgery and also enjoys
all aspects of being a general practitioner. Dr Miller
has been a general veterinary practitioner in the Inland
Empire area for 19 years and has been with California
Oaks Veterinary Hospital for the last 15 years.
Dr. Miller received his Bachelor of Sciences with honors
from the University of California-Davis. He received his
Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the
University of California-Davis, graduating as a member
of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society.
Dr. Miller and his wife Jeanette have two daughters and
eleven animal companions, consisting of five cats;
Bruin, Bozo, Mocha, Java, and Pablo; Noble the golden
retriever; three tortoises named UCLA, Bruin, and
Bruinette; and two Harris Hawks named Bow and Thunder.

James Wentzel, DVM
Dr. Wentzel is
a staff veterinarian at California Oaks Veterinary
Hospital. His areas of interest are internal medicine,
surgery, dermatology, and preventative medicine. He has
extended interest in abdominal ultrasound and in
surgical correction of stifle (knee) injuries, including
cruciate injury and luxating patella.
Prior to joining COVH, Dr. Wentzel served for 10 years
as a staff veterinarian in a small animal practice in
Wisconsin.
Dr. Wentzel earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine
from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1995.
Dr. Wentzel and his wife, Karen, have a son, Jonas, and
a daughter, Gwyn. Their family is rounded out with a
boxer named Todd and a Boston Terrier, named Willie. |
